Sepsis remains one of the leading causes of foal mortality. This webinar will focus on the identification of risk factors and early clinical signs that allow the early identification of sepsis. We will discuss the pathophysiology of how sepsis occurs and then focus on the practical approach to treatment and prevention. This webinar is aimed at giving solid practical advice to the equine vet. Emily graduated from the University of Bristol in 2003 and worked in equine and small animal practice for 18 months. She then completed an equine internship at the Liphook Equine Hospital in Hampshire.
