Job Description

Head Veterinary Nurse - Oakbeck, Harrogate

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced veterinary nurse to join our beautiful practice in Oakbeck and lead the nursing team as Head Veterinary Nurse.

This role could suit an experienced RVN with previous leadership experience or a confident RVN who is eager to take the next step into a head nurse role; you will be fully supported within your move and we will offer full management training with our dedicated in-house internal training team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a team of four knowledgeable and skilled vets, six devoted nurses and lovely support staff.

Oakbeck hospital has extensive facilities and equipment including three consult rooms, two theatres, endoscopy, a newly installed in-house CT machine and digital x-ray. We are also a dental referral practice with an in-house dental specialist and one of the other vets has a certificate in dermatology.

Oakbeck is within walking distance to Harrogate shopping centre and is located close to stunning rural attractions.

What you'll be doing?

Your average day will include a variety of nursing duties as well as assisting with clinical coaching within the practice. Full support will be provided as you will work closely within our experienced team.

Full time working hours are 40 hours a week, no bank holidays or on call.
